On Thursday September 25, the Lower School hosted parents and families at the annual Parent Night. The event opened in the Pavilion with a welcome from Ms. Thatcher, Dean, including impressions of the Highlights of the Cambridge Curriculum, shout-outs to the amazing teachers and support team in the lower school, as well as some “housekeeping” details were shared. The Parent’s Association presented about opportunities for volunteering and mention of upcoming events on campus. Parents then gathered their children from the “Slab” and joined them on a visit to their classrooms, where they learned about the daily routines and achievements of their children from the class teachers. Students proudly displayed their work-in-progress, demonstrated lessons and let their parents sit at their desks.
It was wonderful to see all our parents and families who were able to attend, and to welcome our new Panther families to Good Hope Country Day School.
