  • In partnership with the Yacht Club, GHCDS produces elite sailors who compete in international regattas.
  • Linda Yoder reads to her third graders, who are frequently seen reading with their older and younger Reading Buddies around campus.
  • Forty-two GHCDS students make up the Cast and Crew of the magical 2016 Spring Musical, Cinderella!
  • Dawn Grey, Upper School Head, advises a senior. Ms. Grey studied at Cambridge University and has taught at other prestigious institutions including Detroit’s Renaissance High School.
  • The Annual Black and Gold Gala helps GHCDS provide nearly $1M in financial assistance.
  • Laurie Dunton, an experienced forensic scientist and master diver, conducts an experiment on algae with her sophomore marine biology class.
  • Stephen Chapman teaches basic programming with Code Studio. St. Croix, thanks to Global Crossing, has one of the fastest fiber optic cables in the world.
