2017 Black and Gold Gala

On February 25, at St. Croix Renaissance Carambola Beach Resort the Good Hope Country Day School Community gathered for its premiere event, the Black and Gold Gala. The beautiful venue was sparkling with a warm glow from all the Moroccan lanterns and luxurious black and gold décor.   The evening was filled with excitement as the nearly 200 guests enjoyed a sumptuous five course Moroccan themed dinner, robust silent and live auctions, and a lively student performance.  It was apparent that everyone shared  the same purpose of raising funds to support the GHCDS financial aid program and to make memories with old and new friends.  This immense effort was spearheaded by the GHCDS Advancement team of Linda Stamper-Keularts, Kiomie Pedrini and their many dedicated volunteers!

Guests came to support the GHCDS Scholarship Dinner, which helps change students lives by giving them access to a world-class education.

  • GHCDS proudly supports up to 46% of its student body with some sort of financial support.
  • This year GHCDS awarded nearly $900,000 in financial aid to assist 46% of our student body.
  • GHCDS graduates attend the finest colleges and universities in the world, including Stanford, MIT, NYU Columbia, St. Andrews, and the military academies.
