Ava Moorman and Jeneesis Joshua-Straun were awarded with Honorable Mentions for their Nautilus expedition patch designs.  The Nautilus is a research vessel that explores the multiple zones of the Pacific Ocean.  Over the last few years they have held a patch design contest for the expedition.  Out of over 100 entries from around the world, the designs of two of our students were chosen as Honorable Mentions.  The GHCDS Zoology class participated in this contest as part of our course.  We enjoyed viewing video from past expeditions and marveling at the unique and wondrous marine life that has been discovered.
