Where did you grow up?
In Christiansted on the island of St. Croix.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
I’ve always been fascinated with the history, food, and architecture of Ethiopia. I would love to travel there someday.
Of what in your life are you most proud?
Contributing to the growth of my students and seeing them mature from young children into successful adults.
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekend?
Visit new restaurants, watch movies on Netflix, and listen to sci-fi audio dramas.
Is there one thing about you your students would be very surprised to learn?
I used to be a toy designer and Sonic the Hedgehog is my favorite video game series.
What do you eat for lunch on school days?
I like to try new recipes so my meals vary. This week I had jambalaya, teriyaki broccoli, and lasagna rolls made with spinach, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, and marinara sauce.
