GHCDS Spelling Bee Champions Honored

Congratulations to 8th grader Alex Fleming, who represented GHCDS in the St. Croix District 50th Anniversary Spelling Bee, held in the John H. Woodson auditorium, Thursday Feb.16. 

Spelling against a competitive field of other St.  Croix 4th-8th grade school bee winners, Alex took 2nd place, earning him a place in the Territorial Spelling Bee in St. Thomas next month, as well as many great prizes including a tablet, a Bluetooth speaker, books and more. We are all proud of you Alex!

Michael Atwell, ‘24, was also honored at the Spelling Bee. Michael was the Territorial Champion in 2019 and 2020, traveling to Washington D.C. to compete.
