Welcome to Good Hope Country Day School, where we strive to provide our children with a world-class education in America’s Paradise, beautiful St. Croix of the U.S. Virgin Islands!
Our students conduct mock trials to bring David Guterson’s Snow Falling on Cedars to life, launch Ken and Barbie dolls from high beams to measure acceleration, hold teddy bear reading parties around our tropical campus, and sing birthday greetings in unison every Friday as a community.
Our athletes compete locally and internationally, from sailing to swimming to soccer, often representing both School and the US Virgin Islands. On a visit, you may see kindergarteners practicing their kicks in our small pool while Harvard’s men’s swim team trains in the adjacent 50-meter pool.
Our artists stage Broadway productions, perform concerts with instruments ranging from saxophones to steel pans, and design award-winning art that beautifies our campus and even adorns the hallways of Congress in Washington, D.C.
Most importantly, our faculty members—who bring many years of both classroom and real-world experience from around the globe—guide our diverse students on this wonderful and fun learning adventure, where no two journeys will be the same. As our mission states, all our students will be empowered to use their unique talents to better the island and the world.
I hope you have the chance to visit!
