Science Fair

Each year all fifth through tenth graders at GHCDS participate in the Science Fair (the Fair is open to 11th and 12th graders as well but is not a requirement). Winners of the event travel to and participate in the prestigious Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in the States. In 2018 Intel ISEF will take place in Pittsburgh in May.

Science Fair is a wonderful opportunity for students to pursue an independent project of their choice. Projects fall into the following categories:

Recent topics have included everything from deoxygenated water to ballet turns and from strength of wood species to the perfect bowling strike.
