Robyn Falconer helped GHCDS take a giant step forward during her two years as president of our Parents’ Association. Robyn, mother of Jack, Lily, and Josh, brought our school more than a dozen new or reinvigorated events, including the Parent Back-to-School Supplies Program, Back-to-School Bash, Fun Run, Color Fun Run, Boo Bash, and Holiday Bingo, and so much more.
Under her amazing leadership, the Parents’ Association raised tens of thousands of dollars, which have been utilized for myriad purposes in benefit of our school and our students: value-added, extra-budgetary items for classrooms; equipment for the pavilion and drama program; athletics equipment; the state-of-the-art GHCDS Slab; industrial fans in the gym, renovations in the restrooms, and more. For nearly all of these projects, Robyn and the parent team she assembled personally recruited and coordinated volunteers and vendors to support Parents’ Association projects.
Most of all, Robyn has provided a tremendous work ethic, can-do attitude, positive spirit, and inspirational leadership as she spearheaded an extraordinary effort to organize parents to help make GHCDS stronger. Robyn’s husband Greg Falconer proudly provided the accompanying photos, when I asked him if he could assist me with this post. We all wish Robyn, Greg, Jack, Lily and Josh all good things as they return to Texas this May. We look forward to seeing them on campus over the upcoming years, whenever they return to visit St. Croix.
