GHCDS Tuition Relief Fund – Recovery Phase

Dear Friends of GHCDS:

The good news is that we are now in the recovery phase of our Tuition Relief Campaign.  After a very tenuous and unsure start to this school year,  with enrollment down nearly 100 students from last year, we have successfully completed our first trimester on campus with a few students learning online simultaneously. Daily we are reminded of just how important GHCDS is to our community. Our students and their families are breathing a sigh of relief that we are able to be on campus safely while following strict COVID-19 protocols and keeping our students engaged in learning! The not so great news is that a good number of our current Panther families are still experiencing significant financial hardship on account of COVID-19’s impact on their livelihood.

The return of these students is contingent on GHCDS providing enhanced need-based financial aid to their families.  By raising $200,000, we will be able to make it possible for these students to remain next year at the school they love.

Simultaneously, by keeping these students at GHCDS, we will be able to maintain and strengthen our academic and extracurricular programs and build upon the foundation we have established over the years to create an even brighter future for our students and our school.Thank you for being part of our community.

Without you, none of it is possible.
