Hi Panther Families!
What an incredible week in Panther sports! On Thursday, we brought home two Championship wins in one day! Our Middle School Lady Panthers volleyball team had a fight on their hands with Pearl B Larsen’s team, but our girls just would not be beat. The team spirit and determination shown by this group was inspiring to watch all season!
Also on Thursday, our Middle School Flag Football team took back their title from last year’s top team, Arthur Richards. Coach Floyd’s thoughts: “We could definitely see the culmination of all their hard work in practices, as they executed, offensively and defensively, to take home the title. It was great to see their teamwork and comradery pay off for them.”
Coach Kenney was impressed with the good sportsmanship and team play throughout the majority of the season, from all the teams in our league. He said that as a new coach on St. Croix, it was a great experience.

In preseason basketball news, we chose a small team of players to represent us in the Varsity division of the Big Youth Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament, which begins next week. Educational Complex Gym has been designated for all games in our division. On Monday our boys will play Central at 7:30 p.m.. On Tuesday they will play Free Will, and on Wednesday they will play Complex. The top two teams after the Round Robin will advance to the finals on Saturday the 30th. Best of luck, Panthers!
