Dear Friends of GHCDS:

Over the past couple of weeks, we have reached out to GHCDS parents to better understand how their children are progressing in our online learning format, to learn how families are faring during the pandemic and accompanying financial crisis, and to ascertain our parents’ thoughts regarding their children’s re-enrollment for the 2020-21 academic year.  We have now spoken with more than 90% of our families, and we have learned that the re-enrollment of some 90 of our current N-11th grade students is in jeopardy because of significant financial hardship parents are experiencing on account of COVID-19’s impact on their livelihood.

The return of these students is contingent on GHCDS providing enhanced need-based financial aid to their families.  By raising $400,000, we will be able to make it possible for these students to remain next year at the school they love.

Simultaneously, by keeping these students at GHCDS, we will be able to maintain and strengthen our academic and extracurricular programs and build upon the foundation we have established over the years to create an even brighter future for our students and our school.

Thank you for being part of our community. Without you, none of it is possible.

We are PANTHER STRONG!

Your GHCDS family
