Develop a new method for filling potholes? Create optimal propulsion through water? Identify racial biases on television? These are just some of the many ways GHCDS students have immersed themselves in science and engineering as they prepare to become innovators who, as our mission indicates, will be empowered to better their island and the world!

Science Fair at GHCDS provides students with a wonderful opportunity to pursue an independent science project of their choice, spark their curiosity with real-world experimentation and data collection, work with a mentor, and develop critical thinking, writing, research, and presentation skills. All students in grades 5-10 complete a Science Fair project, though the Fair is open to older students as well.  To read more about the 2017-18 Science Fair projects, view the book below.
