Doug Booth - Middle and Upper School Math Teacher

We are excited to welcome Mr. Doug Booth to our Middle and Upper School Math faculty. Mr. Booth brings a wealth of experience and a robust educational background, having served in various teaching and administrative roles at several esteemed institutions. He holds a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Purdue University.
 
Mr. Booth's career in education spans over three decades, during which he has significantly impacted student learning and achievement. At Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School in Austin, Texas, he served as the Chairman of the Math Department, teaching Geometry, Algebra, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus at honors levels or above. Additionally, he was a 10th and 11th-grade advisor and an assistant varsity boys’ soccer coach, contributing to both the academic and extracurricular programs.
 
Before joining our faculty, Mr. Booth also held positions at Saint Edward’s School in Florida, where he was the Director of Athletics and taught mathematics and science. His dynamic approach integrates rigorous academic standards with comprehensive student support, ensuring each student reaches their full potential.
