We are delighted to introduce Ms. Taniea Engel as our new Middle and Upper School English teacher. Ms. Engel brings a rich educational background, holding a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word, graduating Cum Laude. She is also pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Vocational Rehabilitation at Thomas University, demonstrating her commitment to ongoing professional development.
Ms. Engel has extensive global teaching experience, including positions at TASIS England and H-International School in Italy. Her teaching methodology skillfully combines comprehensive language skills with a deep appreciation for literature, aimed at enhancing students' proficiency and cultural insights.
In addition to her academic contributions, Ms. Engel has significantly impacted student athletics by coaching volleyball and basketball teams. We are excited for her to bring her expertise, passion, and diverse experiences to our school community.
