The GHCDS Board of Trustees participated in a professional development retreat Friday evening and Saturday morning August 9 & 10. Led by Trustee Bradley Ebersole and Interim Head of School, Bill Sinfield the focus was on strategies for overall board effectiveness and operations, planning for the start of the 2024-2025 school year, and envisioning a healthy future for GHCDS. It was felt the retreat was very productive, and should lead to the implementation of a number of strategies for overall improved board governance, leadership, and communication with the GHCDS community.
