The excitement was palpable as Good Hope Country Day School students in grades 7-12 gathered in the music room to audition for "You Can’t Take It With You," a three-act comedy by Moss Hart and George Kaufman!
Stage Manager Isabelle Coursey helped auditioners get organized by guiding them through the audition forms, while Nico Forno D'Adamo, president of the GHCDS Drama Club, led the actors in energetic physical and vocal warm-ups. The afternoon was filled with laughter, improv, and skill-building activities that brought out the best in each participant.
Director Michael Armendariz closed the day with a heartfelt speech, congratulating each actor for their bravery in stepping up and putting themselves out there—because, after all, You Can’t Take It With You!
