This week, our morning assembly was hosted by Mrs. Bohlke and the sixth-grade class, who welcomed representatives from the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority. The guests provided an informative presentation on the handling and processing of solid and water waste, as well as recycling and mulching practices in the Virgin Islands. They explained how their hard work plays a crucial role in keeping our environment clean and sustainable. After the presentation, students had the exciting opportunity to explore the massive waste management truck and learn about its impressive functions. A big thank you to the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority team for sharing their knowledge and helping us understand the importance of caring for our environment!
Thank you!
