This summer, Ms. Wood & Mrs. Coles brought back something EPIC from a STEM Institute!
A partnership with NASA's HUNCH program to tackle real space challenges! Bob Zeek, a representative from NASA HUNCH working at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama came to kick off the project design on October 11.
Upper School students (10th-12th) in STEAM club and Intro to Engineering are diving into Culinary & Nutritional Engineering and Biomedical Science & Engineering! They are determining solutions to the problems NASA is currently trying to solve! With creativity, innovation, and determination these students could be sending a team to Johnson Space Center in Houston to present their designs and ideas to NASA researchers, engineers, and other experts!
