At GHCDS Pre-Kindergarten, students have been learning all about the skeletal system! During an exciting visit to the Upper School Science Lab, science teacher Ms. Maranda Wood introduced them to human and animal skeletons, guiding them through the fascinating world of bones. This hands-on experience allowed the young learners to see and touch different types of bones, bringing their classroom lessons to life.
Experiential learning like this fosters curiosity and engagement, allowing students to explore scientific concepts in a memorable way. By handling real models and asking questions in a lab setting, our pre-kindergarteners deepen their understanding through active exploration, building a foundation for lifelong learning.
