A Special Visit to the Early Learning Center!
This week, the St. Croix Animal Shelter stopped by the Early Learning Center at GHCDS, bringing valuable lessons and plenty of smiles!
Our youngest Panthers learned:
🐕How to approach a dog or cat safely when they don’t know you.
🍎 Which foods are safe (and not safe!) to feed dogs.
🤲 The importance of using gentle hands, as pets can become overwhelmed.
💖 The five essential things every pet needs: food, water, shelter/shade, love, and care.
The highlight of the visit? The students got to hold and pet an adorable puppy, filling the room with joy and excitement! To top it all off, our thoughtful Panther Cubs presented the shelter with donated bags of pet food, generously provided by parents.
