Dolphins Shine at Campeonato Piscina Corta in Puerto Rico

This past week, the Dolphins Swim Team delivered an
exceptional performance at the Campeonato Piscina Corta
25mts Mayores in San Juan, Puerto Rico, showcasing
incredible determination, teamwork, and record-breaking
swims under the leadership of Coach Adriel Sanes. The
swimmers attending this event where Saidah Banwaree,
Nicholas Crikelair, Cameron Cullinan, Cole Cullinan, Madelyn
Donnelly, Morgan Garner, Teague Gleason, Sawyer Holley, Lu
Joseph, Daryan Maynard, Diella Maynard, Kameryn Padgett
and Kalonji Von Schilling Royer.

Day 1 Highlights (12/13):
The Dolphins kicked off the competition with 22 out of 30
personal best times and three new VI national age group
records:
• Diella Maynard broke her own VI national age group
record in the 1500m Freestyle – 19:20.19.
• Daryan Maynard set a new VI national age group record
in the 100m Butterfly – 58.74.
• The 15-16 Mixed 400m Medley Relay team of Daryan
Maynard, Madelyn Donnelly, Lu Joseph, and Kalonji Von
Schilling established a new VI age group record – 4:29.13.

• 🥈Silver: Daryan Maynard – 200m Freestyle

Day 2 Highlights (12/14):
The Dolphins continued their dominance with 24 out of 35
personal best times and two new records:
• Daryan Maynard broke the VI national open record in
the 800m Freestyle – 8:39.04.
• Lu Joseph set a new VI national age group record in the
100m Backstroke – 1:08.11.

The final day brought the team’s strongest showing yet, with
29 out of 33 personal best times and an impressive 7-medal

• Kalonji Von Schilling-Royer – 50m Backstroke (27.10)
