The Good Hope Country Day School Board of Trustees is pleased to announce its newly elected slate of officers, chosen in December.
Chairperson: Dr. Bradley Ebersole
Dr. Ebersole brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to GHCDS. With 41 years in higher education—from teaching to serving as a community college president—he has been an active member of the Board for the past year and a half. During this time, he has participated in several committees and led a board development and planning retreat. Currently engaged in professional consulting, Dr. Ebersole also has a personal connection to the school, with two grandchildren enrolled. The Board is confident in his ability to unite all GHCDS constituencies in advancing the school’s mission and development.
Co-Vice Chairpersons: Mr. John Harper and Ms. Andrea Crikelair
Mr. Harper is a long-serving member of the Board and a past Board Chair. Ms. Crikelair, a dedicated Board member, has made a significant impact as co-chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. She is also a GHCDS parent, with three children currently attending the school.
Treasurer: Ms. Chivonne K. Romney-Lee, CDS ’99
A proud alumna, Ms. Romney-Lee credits her foundation at CDS for shaping who she is today. As a CPA and mother of an 8-year-old GHCDS student, she is excited to give back to the institution that has meant so much to her and her family.
Secretary: Ms. Rhea Abramson, GHS ’92
Ms. Abramson describes her service on the GHCDS Board as an act of gratitude. “The gifts I received during my time at GHS are immeasurable,” she shares. While she does not have children currently attending the school, she views her Board service as a way to repay a debt of appreciation she feels toward her alma mater.
Dr. Ebersole shared his thoughts on the newly seated Board:
“I am deeply impressed by the caliber of individuals serving on the GHCDS Board and their genuine dedication to the school. Together, we will work to address challenges and ensure that GHCDS continues to be a premier learning institution. I personally look forward to connecting with as many parents, faculty, staff, and students as possible.”
The GHCDS community is fortunate to have such passionate and capable leaders guiding the school into the future.
