On Sunday, the St. Croix Scenic 50K brought together 150 runners from 17 states and four countries to conquer the island’s breathtaking trails. Among the participants were our very own GHCDS alumni, families, athletes, and staff, showcasing the strength and spirit of our community.
Our Seniors Kirra and Mason Lambert, Kaeden Gleason, Nathan Langley, Cole Sommer, Thomas Crikelair, and Junior Vedant Mittal made an unforgettable impression with powerhouse relay teams.
- Mason, Kaeden, and Nathan crushed the standing relay record, earning an impressive 2nd place overall!
- Cole, Thomas, and Vedant followed closely, clinching a strong 3rd place finish.
The event wasn’t just for students—Ms. Hill and Señora Capriola joined the relay challenge, while Coach Klein, Ms. Lambert, and Ms. Wood went the distance, completing the 31.15-mile ultra-marathon with grit and determination.
This incredible event is a testament to the endurance, camaraderie, and adventurous spirit of our GHCDS family. Be sure to mark your calendars for next year’s race—it’s an experience you don’t want to miss!
