Class of 2027 Restores Robin Bay Through Beach Cleanup

Last week, the Good Hope Country Day School Class of 2027 took meaningful action as part of their ongoing Community Enrichment Initiative, a student-led program dedicated to serving communities and addressing areas of need across our island.

Their focus this time: Robin Bay, a breathtaking natural gem on the eastern side of St. Croix. Sadly, this beautiful beach had become littered with plastics, trash, and other debris. Motivated by a shared commitment to Environmental Stewardship, the 10th-grade students rolled up their sleeves to restore its beauty and health.

Their hard work made an incredible impact! The students successfully removed over 15 bags of waste, leaving Robin Bay cleaner, safer, and more inviting for the community and wildlife alike.

The Class of 2027 extends heartfelt thanks to the Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) for their guidance and continued efforts to protect and preserve St. Croix’s environment.

Through dedication and teamwork, these students are making strides toward a cleaner, greener future for St. Croix—one project at a time!
