Alumni Spotlight: Celebrating a Decade of Dedication: Chelcie Stanton’s 10 Years at JS Therapies

We are beyond proud to celebrate Chelcie (Goldman) Stanton, a CDS 2009 alumna, as she marks 10 impactful years as a pediatric occupational therapist with JS Therapies.

Born and raised on St. Croix, Chelcie graduated from GHCDS before pursuing her passion for helping others at Ithaca College, where she earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy. True to her love for her island home, Chelcie returned to St. Croix after college to make a meaningful difference in the community that shaped her—and she has been doing exactly that ever since.

Chelcie is renowned for her dedication to child-led, neurodiversity-affirming therapy for autistic children, always focusing on celebrating each child’s unique strengths. Over the past decade, she has helped hundreds of children thrive and has continuously expanded her expertise. From earning her certification in aquatic therapy to becoming an expert in feeding therapy, Chelcie brings innovation and care to every aspect of her work.

Chelcie’s contributions extend far beyond the therapy room. She provides services and collaborates directly with lower school teachers here at GHCDS, enriching the lives of our youngest Panthers. Her commitment to families shines through the wonderful programs she has created, including Autism Family Fun Days and Parents’ Night Out, giving families opportunities for joy and connection while building a stronger community.

Chelcie’s passion, expertise, and unwavering dedication to her work are an inspiration to us all. We are so grateful to count her as part of the GHCDS family and look forward to seeing the amazing things she will continue to accomplish in the years to come.

Congratulations, Chelcie, on 10 incredible years of making a difference!
