Panther Cubs Explore Virgin Islands History with Special Guest Mr. Greenidge!

The Nursery and Pre-K had a special treat as Mr. Jayar Greenidge, a beloved and influential Middle School teacher with a passion for Virgin Islands History, visited to share his knowledge with our youngest Panthers!

Mr. Greenidge captivated the Panther Cubs with engaging stories about:

  • Christiansted Fort & Cannons – How they protected the island from pirates
  • Danish & U.S. Virgin Islands Flags – Their history and significance
  • The Bananaquit – The official bird of the Virgin Islands
  • The Ginger Thomas – The vibrant yellow trumpet flower found throughout the territory

He was incredibly impressed with how much the students had already learned during their two-week Virgin Islands History unit. It was a fantastic learning experience, bringing history to life for our youngest learners!
