GHCDS Triumphs at 2025 MATHCOUNTS Territorial Competition

Good Hope Country Day School proudly celebrates the success of its outstanding mathletes at the 2025 MATHCOUNTS Territorial Competition, held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at the UVI Innovation Center on St. Thomas.

The event brought together the top 20 middle school mathematicians from across the Territory, who showcased their problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and teamwork in a series of intense, timed rounds. These included:

  • Sprint Round – 30 challenging questions with no calculators
  • Target Round – 4 pairs of multi-step problems (calculators allowed)
  • Team Round – Collaborative problem-solving
  • Countdown Round – A fast-paced buzzer competition for fun, pitting top scorers against one another

Representing GHCDS with excellence were Cole Cullinan, Beckett Archambault, Hudson Mirocha, and David Vaughn. Their performance was exceptional, especially that of Cole Cullinan, who placed 1st overall in the Territory.
