Please keep in mind:

  • At the Elementary and Middle School levels, placement is based both on academic readiness and chronological age. A student entering grade one must be 6 years old, grade two, 7 years old, etc., by September 1st of the entering year.
  • At the Upper School level, admissions is based upon academic readiness and successful completion of the previous grade. Chronological age is an important consideration.

If any psychological or educational testing has been administered, please provide GHCDS with a copy of the evaluation. All information provided to Good Hope Country Day School during the admission process is strictly confidential. Every Good Hope Country Day School student is admitted all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available at the school. I understand that grade placement for returning students is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the previous grade, as well as a satisfactory report of behavior, attitude, and effort; and final acceptance for new students is contingent upon successful testing results and on–campus interview.  

Schedule Visit and Entry Exam
All families are urged to take a school tour and to meet with our Head of School. Please contact our Executive Assistant, Stewart Shelley, at (340)778-1974 if you are interested in scheduling a visit. After submitting the previous forms, our Registrar, Alma Castro-Nieves, will assist in scheduling the entry exam(s) for potential student(s).
Complete Enrollment Forms
Following admission to our school, please complete the following forms and submit to our Registrar, Mrs. Alma Castro-Nieves.   Important Dates and Reminders:
  • $200 registration fee and a $1000 non-refundable deposit, which will be applied to tuition. Payments may be made with check, cash, Visa or Mastercard. Credit card charges are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
  • Late enrollment (after the start of the school year) will be a pro-rated tuition calculation based on number of days enrolled.
